I liked the progressive nature of the church overall. The congregation is so small that they do not have a full-time, ordained pastor. Rather, they rely on a lay minister. I attended one service and the lay woman giving the service was not a gifted speaker and certainly didn't reflect familiarity with public speaking or a depth of understanding of the Bible/community/being a congregational leader. No one was there to welcome me. I had to find my own way to the gathering after service. The refreshments consisted of cookies/coffee. What really turned me off was the passive/aggressive nature of the lay woman. I went up to introduce myself and she was NOT friendly, didn't have time to great a new person, talked about people (in the presence of a visitor! I was so turned off.) and was cold. I think this church is either dying or trying to figure out who they are. But they need to find someone that is skilled at being a leader for the congregation.
